When we talk about the scene it’s very important to know that, yes, it’s great to reminisce and talk about the good memories and spread the love and kindness this community has to offer. However, when we talk about the bad it’s important to know we hold those individuals accountable. Especially, because most of these questionable individuals have gone to go on tour and join other bands. Making sure we hold them to the level of accountability is important but making sure we do so in a way that does not not harm the victims in the process.
since I am remaining anonymous I have been in the scene here in chs since I was 14-15 years old i’ll be 21 this year.
I’ve gone through some terrible experiences myself and when we talk about victims it’s important to NOT name drop individuals since they probably aren’t ready to talk about the situation themselves..
I think this project could do so much good if we all allow it to
and encourage we all make sure we are there for one another when incidents like these occur.
For the future of the scene I would like to hope people think about that before things go overboard and people start to spread things around when it’s not their story to tell.
