Ultimately if any of this is to be taken fully seriously and you want justice for what was done go to the police. It didn’t register that I was assaulted until a while after, when I was 21 because it wasn’t outright assault. If you have an interaction with someone and immediately start calling them a rapist just go to the police genuinely. You can ruin their lives with a social media post but it won’t do anything in reality without a police report or arrest which if these people are to be believed it should be no problem to get them charged / arrested / an actual record

I’m still going through a journey of healing and those people who give themselves and friends infinite grace on this subject are the ones who made it so that i didn’t feel safe to speak on it. My frustration on whether or not I feel safe to speak on this doesn’t inherently come from Dylan or Kushi or whoever you want to label as a rapist, but at people who position themselves as arbitrators judges and juries because their pride gets involved and their egos get inflated and feel like they can do no wrong.

As someone that survived S/A at 5 years old and 19........ I made the post at 10:38 not to affirm whether Kushi's allegations are true or false, or whether Dylan Lafong's allegations are true or false. It has frustrated me for years that in this scene people are complete hypocrites. Who are any of us - other than direct victims - to forgive, or to push allegations as true or false when it comes to S/A? How can it be that someone you barely know is the devil for rape 4 years after the allegations come out and I've STILL never seen any victim speak on it publicly, but your best friend who groomed minors for years gets alleged of rape and you still hang w/ him and decide you're the one to forgive him? Dylan LaFong is the devil for allegations 4+ years ago but Cyprus Hartford is fine and you can fuck around with and be friends and "political allies" with after they date-raped 3 people the same summer. When I was in the scene I never felt safe enough to open up about getting sexually assaulted at the beginning of 2023. Because of this dynamic. Take the stance. Are you going to help your friend be a better person after they make a mistake? If so, give other people the same grace because we all know Dylan was like 18 when he had allegations, and Kushi was 25/26. Are you going to ostracize someone for having allegations and call them an abuser for years and mark their reputation? Do the same with your friend who groomed minors for years and then got accused of S/A probably by someone he groomed. I'm so tired of the discourse around this and the people who get their egos and prides involved to be the arbitrator / judge and jury on this shit.
