The so-called “Scene” as we’ve known it has by all accounts collapsed on its own weight and disappeared. Fewer shows have been had this year than were in a good Summer month in 2023. Evidently the causes of its humiliated state are multifaceted, and the strong feelings that this very website have evoked reflect some of the more self evident reasons of the same. So what are we to do now that we can’t go to as many live music events? One local Charleston band has been making waves for pioneering the next generation of Charleston scenery: INYATO. Yes, fishing is the future of Charleston alternative entertainment. The scene has fallen, billions must go to Walmart and buy the $40 Ugly Stik GX2 combo and 3/0 worm hooks and 1/2 oz bullet weights and blue senkos and fish for bass in local neighborhood ponds.

Not to be the devil’s advocate cuz Ethan is truly a creep, BUT being 30 and having friends who are mid-20s is normal af. I got a 60yo old head friend, 19yo friend who i volunteer with, and everything in between. The problem is when age gaps are used to manipulate, or obviously when one is a minor. Life doesn’t end at 30
